The county of Lincolnshire is situated on the East coast of England.

The area is mostly comprised of farmland and gentle terrain and the best inland riding is found along the county’s extensive collection of ancient bridleways. The Viking Way is an enjoyable riding trail, set in some of the most peaceful and picturesque scenery in Lincolnshire. There is a large stretch of coastline to be explored, and between the busier sections of beach populated with tourists, it is possible to find deserted expanses of gorgeous clean sand, perfect for an undisturbed gallop along the inviting shoreline. Beach riding is offered by various equestrian centres such as Field Farm and Canter Hallington, where you and your horse might even fancy a paddle in the water!
