Riding Holidays | West Sussex - England
West Sussex is a county in the South-East of England, sat on the southern coastline.
The prominent landscape feature of East Sussex is the South Downs National Park of rolling chalk hills and steep dry valleys. From the high points of the park the views over the farmland are spectacular, and in some spots you’ll also get a glimpse of the sparkling ocean. Within the park there are numerous points of interest to discover on horseback, for example - the Devil’s Dyke is a fascinating natural form which brings with it an exciting legend. Opportunities for trail riding in the area are endless, notably the South Downs Way, a popular route amongst cyclists, walkers and horse riders alike. Additionally, beaches such as West Wittering are just fantastic for those who enjoy exhilarating gallops along vast areas of golden sand.
