Riding Holidays | Somerset - England
Somerset lies in South-West England. The county town is Taunton and it is borded to the north and west by the river Severn and the Bristol Channel.
Somerset is home to the spectacular landscape of Exmoor National Park, where horse and rider can go wild on the wide stretches of unspoilt moorlands and enjoy fantastic beach riding on the north coast – Burnham-on-Sea is a great spot, where you can gallop for miles. The terrain also includes rolling hills and well known areas such as the Mendips and Quantocks, as well as large flat expanses. The riding centres are mainly in these hilly areas which are less populated and offer greater opportunities for trail riding.
The riding opportunities are rich and varied in Somerset, with a stunning coastline and a diverse landscape, there is something for all.
